Hello lovelies, today is the last Friday in the month of May and lately I have been doing some serious reflections on how the year has gone so far. When a word went forth in the beginning of the year that 2020 is going to be year to watch, I didn’t really understand. I thought it just meant God was going to move in ways that we have never seen both as individuals and a Church but it has meant that and so much more.

Who would have thought that a time where human contact would be dangerous would occur, who would have thought that we would still be chanting #blacklivesmatter, but in the midst of all these God has been truly faithful. He has constantly shown up in my life and I know in yours too.

There is so much I am thankful for right now that money cannot buy and they are;

The fact that i am writing the blog post and you are reading it is a testimony in itself. Even if we don’t have anything to be thankful for but the fact that we are alive means there is hope!

This in itself is a blessing, I can’t remember the last time i complained of a headache or body pain. I haven’t even used any form of medication in over a year and this is something I am truly thankful for.

God has been so faithful in the lives of my family members (nuclear and extended), we have experienced the birth of two beautiful babies (a boy and a girl with both mothers doing extremely well), growth from all sides, friends making waves in their various endeavors, birthday celebrations, wedding anniversary’s and many more. It has been from one form of celebration to another.

My relationship with God has been one thing that has kept everything concerning me stable despite what is going on around the world, I bless the day I met Jesus. Don’t get me wrong, trials have come my way but He has been a friend, father, lover, provider, lifter, comforter, ever present help, He has just been there and He still here.

The fact that you clicked on that link to read this blogpost and even made it to this point, THANK YOU! For the being a reader, for the likes, comments, shares, retweets and support in many ways i am truly grateful.
