I love getting compliments with my outfits – I mean who doesn’t right? To look stylish actually requires less work than you think, with the right amount of preparation and creativity, you can consistently feel and look good about what you are wearing any day any time

Looking more fashionable isn’t always about wearing the coolest trends, mastering complicated styling tricks, or wearing the most expensive clothes. (Who has the bank account for that, anyway? Can’t be me.) It can really be as easy as loosely tucking in your shirt, throwing on a pair of sunglasses, or adding more layers to your look.

The 3 rules below will help you look stylish without all the paparazzi

Having Inspiration Sources.

Pinterest board full of seasonal outfit ideas from your favorite street style stars, a physical moodboard hung in your room or magazines. If you have a source for ways to keep your look fresh and dynamic, you will never have to start from scratch. This doesn’t mean you have to copy them but they can inspire your next look or outfit.

Invest In Elevated Staples

If you give yourself a solid and stylish base to build outfits off of, you are only setting yourself up for success. What is an elevated staple? It could be a black blazer with a special cuff detail or a button down shirt with a sewn in scarf / lace details. It could even be a pair of pants that simply fit like a glove.

Don’t Forget About Accessories

I know you won’t leave your home without your purse or shoes. Accessories can boost the quality of your outfit tenfold. Jazz up your outfit with some statement earrings or sunglasses. Invest in pieces that can easily transform a simple look to a head turning one.
