Happy new week!!! New opportunities to go out and do things that pushes us out of our comfort zone. I hope we all had a relaxing and fun weekend.
“Dress to impress” or “Dress for the job you want not the job you have” I believe are fashion advices on how to watch the way we dress, because how we dress affects a lot of things. One of which it our confidence level. Whether we notice it or not, our outfit choices speak volumes about who we are and our current mood. It also says a lot about a our personality.
I always wear clothes that I feel confident and comfortable. Would be sharing with you some things I keep in mind when planning outfits to wear.
- Does it fit
Clothes that don’t fit well leave you feeling uncomfortable and it looks unflattering. It’s important to know your clothing measurement and shop according to your clothing size. Even getting a taivory to do minor adjustments can go a long way. When we wear clothes that fit correctly we look more put together and comfortable
2. Comfort is key
Wear clothes you are comfortable in and it would definitely shine through in the way you carry yourself
3. Say no to compulsive shopping
Just because so and so wore that, I must buy or maybe you looked in your closet and “i don’t have nothing to wear” pops in your head, you decide to go shopping. If you really have to, buy quality pieces you love and can be worn over and over again.
4. Dress for the occasion
No matter where you are going, always put some thought into what clothes will be appropriate.
5. Find your go-to style
You know what clothes makes you – you. Wear them!
